Report: County’s overall health ranks low (Sampson Independent)
A report detailing health rankings for each of North Carolina’s 100 counties shows Sampson County 67th in the state in overall health and even lower — 82nd — in factors that influence health, being particularly at-risk for poor behaviors that include adult smoking, adult obesity, binge drinking, motor vehicle death and high risk sexual activity.
